Friday 14th February was a special day for the Year 8 students as they experienced a Careers Day which was focused on the Creative Industries sector.  Representatives from the Creative Industries sector included; Jessica Brandt Kelly – Costumer, Dancer Maria McGurk, Briege Lynch and Liam McMullan – GBL Productions, Amy Button – Construction – Women’s TEC, Aisling Gallagher – BBC – Producer/Researcher Documentaries, Damian – 2B Creative, Megan O’Connor – Retail and Wendy Henning – Beauty.

The students had the opportunity to meet with the representatives, in a carousel format, and learn about their various fields of expertise.

The Year 8 students enjoyed the event and were inspired to learn more about the various jobs that were showcased.
