Hello parents and students. Today marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week. As part of Anti-Bullying Week 2020, NIABF is running our annual creative arts competition for children and young people. 

All entries should be submitted with one of the following titles:

A. United Against Bullying

B. We Are All a Piece of the Puzzle

C. Take a Minute to Unite Against Bullying

Submissions can be made in any of the following media:

1. Written Word

◾Essay/short story (500 word limit)

◾Poem/spoken word (max 40 lines on 1 A4 page)

◾Script for up to 60 second drama/film/story board

2. Visual Art

◾Drawing/painting/poster/collage (no smaller than A4; no larger than A2)

◾Sculpture/3D models (no larger than 60 cm in height, depth or width)

◾Photography

◾Textiles/Printmaking

3. Video*

◾Up to 60 second short film (documentary; vlog)

◾Up to 60 second performance of original work (drama; dance; song; spoken word)

Age Categories

There are four age categories* for the competition, based on the school year/age group of the child or young person during ABW20, i.e. on 16 November 2020:

◾Year 8 – 10

◾Year 11 and over
