Springvale Learning – Paid work placement opportunity for 14-15 year olds

A new programme has been set up aimed at people within the West Belfast area who are under 16, to offer them a paid 6-month work placement Saturday job in local businesses, with the possibility of a permanent position to stay employed after the 6 months.

The programme aims to get young people engaged in the community and to learn life and employability skills as well as develop the skills they learn from school. They do not have to have a National Insurance Number to take part in this programme. It will not conflict with school times and will run over 3 evenings and then into a job on a Saturday with mentoring throughout their journey.
