Debating Team Success

Concern Competition Debating Success!

St. Louise’s Senior Debating team have finished the Concern Debating Competition with great success!  The team unanimously won their final debate against Belfast High School where we debated the motion, ‘The EU needs an army.’ Our students worked extremely hard to prepare for this debate.  The chief adjudicator commented that “it was an excellent debate and St. Louise’s students were a credit to their school.”  Debate team teachers Miss McCann and Miss McCartan are extremely proud of the team’s hard work and dedication.

Team Captain/ Chairperson: Kate Lynch, Deputy Captain: Chloe Morgan Speakers: Aoife Nic Giolla Cheara, Esha Razak, Catriona O’Hagan, Louise Greig, Louise Watson, Anna Mateer, Alex Villadolid, Erin McCullough
