Competitions

We encourage participation in a number for competitions throughout the school year, to nurture our students’ skills and talents, across all areas of the curriculum. In this academic year our students and their teachers have enjoyed success in many competitions including:

The Living Law Programme:

Year 13 students Stephanie Bunting, Summer Lambatan, Bronagh Quinn and Amy Ward.

Senior Queen’s Scholarship Scheme:

Year 13 students Riona Laverty, Holly Gowdy and Niamh Hazard.

The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative

All Year 9 students participated on behalf of local charitable organisations. The winning group, Caitlin Cosgrove, Maria Patterson, Katie Maguire and Dearbhla McCusker, won on behalf of the ‘Suicide Awareness and Support Group’.

Poetry in Motion:
