News ST LOUISE'S WIN NORTHERN IRELAND BOOK AWARD On Wednesday 6 April the Finale of the Northern Ireland Book Awards was held in Aquinas Grammar School, Belfast. St Louise's College received an Amazon Kindle in recognition of their contribution and support of the Northern Ireland Book Awards. Mrs Deirdre McConnell, Librarian at St Louise's College said, "This award came as a great surprise to us as there were 44 schools involved in the scheme. Everyone in the school is extremely proud of the pupils involved. Since the launch of the Awards last October the pupils have read and reviewed all 8 short-listed books and voted for their favourite on the Northern Ireland Book Awards website. The Kindle will be a great addition to our Library, as it can store more than 3000 books and can cater for everyone's taste".
